If only I could describe to you the excitement, that tonight stirred inside of me.  We had our second VisionMeeting for RiverChurch tonight, and all I can say is “wow.”  It was a  diverse group of people.  We had family, we had friends, we had people who had heard about us through Twitter, some who heard about us through Facebook, we even had a guy who was in our youth group when I was a youth pastor in Israel.

Afterwards it was great to talk to everyone and find out what brought them out.  But the thing that excited me the most was the fact that the vision God has given me for RiverChurch seemed to resonnate with so many people who were there. People are hungry to not just do church, but BE THE CHURCH!!!!

Tonight I am reminded that there IS a purpose for RiverChurch in this city.   God HAS called us to plant this church.  Not to compete.  Not to compare.  But to add our voice to those already at work in Chattanooga, to glorify God and to make Him famous.

Next week we continue meeting on Monday nights.  And start touching this City.  I can hardly wait

There is a River, (in Chattanooga) whose streams (the people), make glad the City, and its RiverChurch.

Hi Shannon! My name is Sophie – I’m Pastor Jack’s graphic designer friend from Green Couch Studio. He mentioned to me that you’re interested in a possible logo design project. I’d love to talk to you about it sometime! If you’re interested, please visit my website (greencouchstudio.com) and send your e-mail address to me through form on the Contact page. (I’ll reply to you through my e-mail address. I just like to refrain from posting my address online because the spammers that find it show no mercy!) :) God Bless!
